ZEPHYR'S CAVE

 Yonder is the cave,
in the forest of zemaina.

yonder is the cave
where the ferocious of lions tread not,
where the poisnous of snakes crawl not,
where the venomous of scorpions creep not.

yonder is the cave of 'ZEPHYR'...
'zephyr'....call her what you want
obstreperous or vociferous
boisterous or beserk.

The cave is lit by darkness
darkness of her eyes,
darkness of her tousled tresses
her stark naked body blankets the darkness
or the darkness blankets her nakedness

 a poet's eyes enter
where even the sun and moon peep not.
I jostle against the darkness
I push through the cobwebs of years
I walk through the caverns of fear

"zephyr"......... I call out..
my voice slaps me back, for I dared to call her name.
........... I see her majestic figure, her ferocious eyes
her full breasts, her broad thighs
welcoming the darkness to impregnate her

the darknes bewitches
as does zephyr.....

now I and the darkness are one
I dont see the darkness anymore
nor does the darkness see me
we become one.

the bibulous zephyr makes me woozy
she drinks in my curiosity and
gulps down my anxiety.

"why zephyr ? why so beserk are you?"
my words cut through the deadly silence..
the silent cavern echoes...

and in a thousand years....speaks zephyr.....
..............
I loved a man, who lov'd me not
He disowned my feeling, left it to rot.
What pain it inflicts on you,
When you give, but are deprived of gift.
All pains of hell assembled
won't make up for the
sting caused by a love.
A love not returned
A love not treasured.
I promised him my soul,
Alas! he turned a false lover.
He turned a blind eye to me,
making me blind to the world.
I denied my vision.
If I see him not,
let this vision rot.
I let the dark forest welcome me
I let the dark cave engulf me.
I relished the silence
I rejoiced the darkness.
I hear no more what words speak.
I see no more what the world sees.

Then you must think, now
why I let my words, reach you.
then just let me say
I have no more words to reason,
my words end where my story ends.
